Sci-Tech Engineers 4-H Club Testing- Read below

I am trying to see how we can better use our Club Blog. If you are a member/parent of member in our club please post a quick comment so I can test out this feature.

Please put a quick why you like 4-H and/or our club so far! Please sign your name to your post...First name and last Initial only.

I will only approve comments from club members/parents of club members.

I am in the process of figuring out the best way and how to add club photos here to share.

Thanks a bunch, Ms Jean

March 2013

Hi Sci-Tech Families,
I will get this blogging thing down eventually. LOL

There will be a slight delay in the pizza fundraiser. Took a little longer then expected to get a hold of Mickey's fundraiser gal due to a family emergency in her family. We need to get the paperwork approved by the extension office. Once that has happened I will send out the info. Thanks for your patience.

We should have project books in a couple weeks and will start scheduling project meetings as permitted by everyone's schedules.

Watch for email update shortly.
Ms Jean

4-H Fair 2012

4-H Fair is almost here. Be sure to get your projects evaluated and make arrangements to get them to the 4-H Center on August 9th from 1pm to 8pm.

If you cannot help at the club demo at the 4-H Fair on Sunday, Aug 12 from 1 to 3 pm then PLEASE donate some time to the 4-H Fair.

Remember if is is not for members and families then the 4-H would not exist!

Watch for updates for a meeting after 4H Fair to go over our Fall fundraiser and what projects we want to work on for the rest of this year.
:-)

Upcoming Sci-Tech Stuff

Hi Sci-Tech Engineer Families,
There are many things upcoming. I wanted to post the info here just in case you lose the emails I send out.

First: Two Project Wrap Up/Brush Up Sessions to finish up or get help with any 4H projects currently being worked on. May 26th and/or June 2nd at 2:30pm must let me know ahead and you need to bring all your project stuff. Email me any stories you have typed so we can help you edit them.

Second: Photography Project will be starting on Friday May 18 at 7pm at Ms Jean's House. Bring camera, notebook and pencil. As long as you are scheduled for one of the Two Project Wrap Up/Brush Up Sessions, if you have not completed on of the 2 projects you are currently working on you may start Photography...but you must attend one of the two sessions to complete one of the projects you have started.

Third: Are you interested in MS. JEANS’ 4H PROJECT SUMMER DAY CAMP June 19, 20 & 21?
I have heard from about half of the club members who are very interested in this. If you have not let me now yes or no on this please contact me today!

Any questions about any of these things coming up please give me a call.

Thanks,
Ms. Jean

Still waitng for many Aerospace Projects!

Come on and get one of your project turned in so you can move onto other projects. Some are already moving on to SCRATCH and Trout season opens up this weekend which kicks off the Fishing Project. Ms. Jean and Skyler plan to go fishing if it is not raining. Probably after lunch time. If you want to meet up with us please give us a call.

Great job on the Pizza sale! I am proud of all of you! Also a big THANKS to Andrea Flynn for picking up the ball and making sure all the pizzas got where they needed to go when I got suddenly sick. Thanks to all of our club 4H families for being flexible to the adjustment we had to do pizza delivery day....you all are GREAT!!!

If you want to do the Fishing Project....there is still time to sign up....just pop me an email or give me a call. More project meeting dates will be posted soon for other projects...just hang in there!

Watch for our upcoming project and meeting schedule just in case any changes are needed. I will try to post them here as soon as I can.

See you all very soon!
Ms. Jean
